It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stacey Wertz (Sublette, Illinois), born in Mendota, Illinois, who passed away on November 17, 2019, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Sue Leffelman (Fischer); her husband Rich; and her stepmother Faye Leffelman. She is survived by: her father Gene Leffelman; her former husband Richard J. Wertz; her children, Abby O'Malley of La Salle, Andy and Max Wertz of La Salle; her brothers, Shawn Leffelman of Sublette and Scott Leffelman of Amboy; her sister-in-law Debbie Duncan of La Salle; her niece Whitney; her nephews, Tyler, Nick and Ryan; her great-nieces, Emersyn and Sloan; and her pet Penny. She is also survived by friends, and her friends and coworkers.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a fund to be established in Stacey's name.
