With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Wertz (Sublette, Illinois), born in Peru, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2019 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wertz and Shirley Wertz (Anglavar); his mother-in-law Sue Leffelman; and his stepmother-in-law Faye Leffelman. He is survived by: his wife Stacey Leffelman; his children, Abby O'Malley of LaSalle, Andy and Max Wertz; his sister Debbie Duncan of LaSalle; his niece Whitney; his nephews, Tyler, Nick and Ryan; his father-in-law Gene Leffelman of Sublette; and his brothers-in-law, Shawn and Scott Leffelman.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a fund to be established in Rich's name at a later date.
