With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell O. Fox of Stronghurst, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Fox and Marie Brown Fox; his wife Hazel Hensley; his grandson Eric Pearce; and his son-in-law Steve Cargill.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Cargill of Washington, IL, Randy Fox (Grace) of Burlington and Rod Fox (Lori) of Oquawka, IL; his grandchildren, Karyn Yates (Ryan), Debra Poretsky (Ken), Randy Fox Jr., Erica Lemon (Craig), Heidi Pearce, Blake Fox (Laura Larger) and Brittany Smith (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Alex Yates (Angel), Rylie Yates, Ethan Poretsky, Sara Poretsky, Owen Lemon, Amelia Lemon, Jackson Smith, Grayson Smith, Garrett Fox and Zach Smith; and his great great grandchild Josie Yates.
