He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McIntyre and Rena Walton McIntyre; his grandson Ryan Davis; and his brother Donald McIntyre. He is survived by: his wife Amie Ballinger; his children, Dena McIntyre of Stronghurst, IL, Tiffany Davis of Burlington, IA, David McIntyre of Lomax, IL, Brett McIntyre of Stronghurst and Blake McIntyre of Stronghurst; his grandchildren, Kyla, Alexis and Nova McIntyre; and his siblings, Jean Faudree (Blaine) of Media, IL, Debra Spiker (Jerry) of Stronghurst, Robert McIntyre (Barbara) of Stronghurst and Mark McIntyre (Joelle) of Burlington.

A memorial fund has been established for his family.
