He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Schroeder and Viola Mae Hendrickson Schroeder; his wife Barbara Klossing; his daughter Karen Schroeder; and his siblings, Gene Schroeder, Edna Staley and Gwen Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Schroeder of Burlington, IA, Sharon Annegers of Stronghurst and Connie Moberg of Stronghurst; his grandson Josh Schroeder; his great grandchild Jacob Schroeder; and his sister Viola Marie McGuire of Carrollton, IL..
