Joan Gittings Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Gittings of Stronghurst, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil L. Gordon and Mildred Gordon (Johnson); and her brother Gene Gordon. She is survived by: her husband John Gittings of Stronghurst; her children, Shari Campbell (Russ) of Little York, IL, Darrell Gittings of Stronghurst, IL, Brian Gittings (Jody) of Milan, MO and Jeff Gittings of Macon, MO; her grandchildren, Hillary of Cassie, J. C., Dayne, Ruby, Cameron, Natalie and Gabriel; her stepgrandchildren, Paige, Tyler and Ryley; her great grandchildren, Clyde, Callahan, Sky, Sage and Myles; and her brother Paul Gordon (Joyce) of Ft. Myers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Henderson County Fair Association.
