It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gilbert Bell of Stronghurst, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gilbert and Belva Madge Brewer Bell; and his brother Gary Bell. He is survived by: his wife Sally Rankin; his children, Brian Bell of Stronghurst, Dan Bell of Stronghurst, Ron Bell of Carrollton, TX, Mike Bell of Denver, CO, Debbie Bell of Quincy and James Bell of Burlington; and his siblings, David Bell of Oquawka, IL and Dessa Rodeffer (Michael) of Stronghurst. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
