Beatrice Day Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Day of Stronghurst, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Lois Beatrice Simmons (Welch); her former husband Donald Hugh Smith; her husband Edwin E. Day; and her sister Ella Milligan.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Carson (George) of Colchester, Diane Keever (Roger) of Monmouth, Bill Smith of Gladstone, Bruce L. Smith (Anita) of Biggsville and Brian H. Smith (Chrissy) of Kirkwood; and her siblings, Jane Mahr (Robert) of Bushnell and Don Simmons (Marilyn) of Biggsville, Illinois.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required and no family receiving hours are being planned.
