With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice E Snyder of Stronghurst, Illinois, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on April 6, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mansheim and Adelaide Mansheim (Bendlage); and her husband Paul Edward Snyder. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Snyder (Janet) of Burlington and Kathleen Keimig (Jerry) of Stronghurst; her grandchildren, Troy Snyder (Mary), Denise Machholz (Ryan), Jon Keimig (Tiffany) and Kari Higgins (Brian); her great grandchildren, Jessica, Abigail, Mallorie, Marissa, Topher, Henry, Breckin and Harrison; and her sister Evelyn Westfall of Des Moines, IA..
She spent endless hours volunteering for RSVP for which she was honored by Governor Terry Brandstad.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for St. Patrick Catholic Church, Divine Mercy Parish, and Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
