As Yolanda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Yolanda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Yolanda leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Filemon Reyes and Maria of Luz Ramos; her children, Leticia Ibarra (Daniel), Maria Ramos (Ramiro), Laura Carerra (Salvador Jaime), Juan Carrera (Magaly), Ramon Carrera and Manuel Carrera (Guadalupe); her pets, Rambo and Gypsy; and her husband Antonio Carrera. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Dieterle Memorial (1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (620 Fifth St, Aurora, IL 60505).
