It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilma L. Carpenter of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Kinkade and Ada Kinkade (Coomer); her husband Don; her sister Nedra; her brother-in-law Ed Bute; her siblings, Carol Schmitt, Audrey (Geroge Vadas), Mary Kinkade (Norma Kinkade) and Charles; her sister-in-law Pat Kinkade; her brother Edward; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Kinkade, Eileen Kinkade and Paul Broadus.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Kissel (Joseph) of Montgomery, TX, Marcia Weld (Michael) of Dana and Donald D. Carpenter (Jane) of Streator; her grandchildren, Bryan Kissel (Tara), Kevin Kissel (Greta), Dr. Steven Kissel (Lindsay), Luke Weld (Kristen), Lindsey Millburg (David), Lee Weld (Shannon), James Carpenter (Whitney) and Scott Carpenter (Jamie); her siblings, Bernadine Broadus of Streator, Rosemary Webb (Robert) of Oswego, John Kinkade of Streator and Robert Kinkade (Connie Reaska) of Streator; and her brother-in-law Frank Schmitt of Streator. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in her name to the First United Methodist Church.
