William A. Lehr Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William A. Lehr of Streator, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ginger; his son Steve; his grandson Keith Lehr; his sister Marge; and his brother-in-law Jack Bergman.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Aldridge (Todd) of Creston, IL, Bonnie Kinzer (John) of Utica, Lorna Lehr (Geno Pisaneschi) of Putnam, Rick Lehr (Karla) of Grand Ridge and Brian Lehr of Grand Ridge; his daughter-in-law Laurie Lehr of Grand Ridge; his grandchildren, Lisa Highland, Valerie Hansen (Pete), April Haring (Steve), Nathan Hettel, Brandon Hettel, Tim Kinzer (Rachel), Stacey Gould (Caleb), Lindsey Rappeport (Austin), Emily Mathes (Kraig), Dane Lehr (Alyssa Mills), Paige Lehr, Bryer Lehr (Hannah) and Baley Lehr (Heather); his granddaughter-in-law Alicia Lehr; his pets, Milo and Charley; his cousin Darla Schmitt; and his nephew Nick Mann. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Grand Ridge Funeral Home (125 Sylvan Ave, Grand Ridge, IL 61325). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Grand Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in his name to either the Grand Ridge Fire Department or Pet Project.
