Wanda Hale Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2020, at the age of 82, Wanda Hale (Streator, Illinois), born in Smithland, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Dunning and Myrtle Dunning (Wadley); her spouse Eber Hale; her grandchildren, Benjamin Dixon and Reagan Lee Payton; and her siblings, Bert, Charles Dunning, Mary Tanner, Pat Clark, Loveda Hjerpe and Linda Puckett.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Kalkwarf (Ryan) of Daniel Island, SC, Susan Straughn (Kenneth) of Streator, Shirley Dixon (Gerry) of Camdenton, MO, Sheila Burns (Brett) of Graymont and Alan Hale of Sunrise Beach, MO; and her sister Elsie Edwards of Odell. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 PM at the funeral home with social distancing being followed and masks being worn.
Memorials may be made to the Cornell Grade School, Cornell American Legion Auxiliary, Cornell Baptist Church or to the donor's choice.
