It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma J. Benner of Streator, Illinois, born in Goodland, Indiana, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Miiller and Cecelia Miiller (Lord); her daughter Lori Benner; and her siblings, Marie Welch, Shirley Miiller, Ralph and James Miiller.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Benner of Streator; her children, Cindy Thomas (Bill) of Simpsonville, Ron Benner (Mary) of Rapid River, Greg Benner of Anaheim and Mike "Whitey" Benner (Leanne) of Streator; her brother Gene Miiller (Marsha) of Kentland, Indiana; and her sister-in-law Carol Miiller of Logansport, Indiana.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
