He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte Rose McDonald (Cagley). He is survived by: his children, Daniel McDonald (Jennifer) of Somonauk, Thaddeus McDonald of Streator, Jacquelynn McDonald of Streator, Patience Carter (John) of Huston, MO and Franklin McDonald of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Lydia, Kaiden, Isabella, Annalynn, John IV, Allaina, Maximus, Daniel, Genevieve and Isis; his father Ted McDonald of Streator; and his siblings, Spencer McDonald (Sharon) of Bloomington, Sue Baker (Clyde) of Streator, Bonnie Zavada (Jim) of Streator, Becky Jennings (Gary), Carolina, Brenda Callahan of Streator and Serena Saubert of Ottawa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
