He was predeceased by: his father Charles "Tuddy" Howell. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn J. Howell (Harrington) of Streator; his close friend Beth Crank of Manville; and his siblings, Sally Pflibsen (Kevin) of Streator, Sheri Wilkinson (Mike) of Ottawa, Sam Howell of Flanagan and Steve Howell of Streator. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Shawn had received blood and was on a donor registry, the family would like to make memorial contributions to Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network or the American Red Cross Blood Services.
