He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Colson and Hazel Colson (Duggins); and his siblings, Ruth Ritchhart, Edwin Colson, Dorothy Heidbreder and Katherine Semple.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Park (Daniel) of Orangeville, Eric Colson of Chicago and Brad Colson of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Sarah Burandt (Paul) of Dubuque, IA and John Park of Ottawa; his great grandchild Lucas Burandt; his brother Fred; and his sister-in-law Dottie Seeman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Streator or Streator Ramp Builders, Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
