He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Meyers and Olive Meyers (Robinson); his wife Julia Smith; his sister Joy Dean; and his stepfather Clint Madden.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Meyers (Rhonda Pollman) of Streator, Joel Meyers (Cheri) of Streator and Brian Meyers (Niki) of Seneca; his grandchildren, Thadius Meyers of Bloomington, Cameron, Madyson Meyers of Streator, Chelsea, Mylee and Franki Meyers of Seneca; his great grandchildren, Judd of Carter, T. J. and Nala of Seneca; his siblings, Dale Meyers (Nancy) of Rochelle and Judy Ciaccio (Don Henderson) of Rockford; and his close friend Pam Coates-Meyers of Streator.
