We bid farewell to Robert L. Kmetz of Streator, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 22, 2024 at the age of 81. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kmetz and Anna Kmetz (Janovich); and his siblings, John, Jerry, Chester Kmetz, Lucille McLaughlin, Joan Brennan, Genevieve Hancin, Helen Kmetz and Evelyn Mudrock.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Kelps (Dan) of Aurora, John Allen Kmetz of Streator and Robert Kmetz (Angelica) of Millington, TN; his granddaughters, Kelly Lynch, Kristi Buchanan, Kate Kelps, Kalina and Kassie Kmetz; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Kmetz of Streator and Phyllis Kmetz of Downers Grove. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
