He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Davis of Streator, Michelle Giese (Dave) of Limestone and Robert Nixon Jr. of Streator; his grandchildren, Walter Vargas, Chase Pavlick, Harrison Giese, Gracie Nixon and Emily Hinz; his great grandchildren, Dalton and Payzlee Vargas; his mother Shirley Holocker of Dwight; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Winterrowd (Luann) of Ancona, Todd Winterrowd (Mark Hintze) of Wisconsin, Barbara Irwin (Paul) of Florida and Kathy Harris of Streator. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
