Robert L. Bennington Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. Bennington of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bennington and Helen Bennington (Hinshaw); and his brother Ron Conner. He is survived by: his wife Eleanore Bennington of Streator; his children, Barbara Yusko (Gregg) of Plainfield, Kathaleen Gordon of Aurora, Jennifer Smith of Appleton and Robert Bennington III (Theresa) of Streator; his brother John Connor (Darlene) of Wenona; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Connor of Streator and Elsie Smith (Daniel) of Streator. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church (407 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
