He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Barr and Anna Barr (Bakalar); and his siblings, Harold Barr Jr. and Beverly Aulabaugh. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Kate" Barr of Streator; his children, Robert "Bob" Barr (Rene) of Streator and Rebecca "Becky" Broedlow (Ted) of Streator; and his grandchildren, Megan Broedlow of Morton, Alexis Broedlow of Chicago, Sophia Broedlow of Streator, Nolan Barr of Streator and Alexa Barr of Streator.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Streator.
