Wright of Streator, Illinois, born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Wright and Augusta Wright (Johnson); his wife Norma Emm; his granddaughter Tara Boyer; his children-in-law, Larry Boyer and Lugene Wright; his sister Elva Mayes; and his nephew Greg Mayes.
He is survived by: his children, Dawanna Adams (Russell) of Streator, Diane Boyer of Phoenix, AZ and Robert Wright Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Anne Grossman, Byron Grossman, Shane Adams, Deena Winchester, Debra Lomak-Swann and Stephen Lomak; his great grandchildren, Lyric Robert Grossman, Gracie, Levi Winchester, Lyndsey Swan and Serena Mesa; and his nieces, Paula Holmlund (John) and Peggy Mayes.
Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
