It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Ward of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Ward to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ogle Schell and Thelda R. Schell (Baker); and her brothers, Roy Kenneth Schell and Donald Schell (Roger Schell). She is survived by: her husband Ron L. Ward; her daughters, Linda Jarrett (Danny) of Pontiac, Lisa Stoeger of Toluca and Lynette Ward of Streator; and her grandchildren, Shannon Kirk, Ronnie, Ryan Bethard, Jamie Derossett, Jenna, Joshua Long, Brenton, Johnny and Macoy Ward. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
