It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Walter Bentlin of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bentlin and Freda Bentlin (Lester); and his wife Karyn Edmonds. He is survived by: his children, Kim Spraggon (Jim) of Streator, Bryan Bentlin of Chicago, Brad Bentlin (Tracy) of Marseilles and Ben Bentlin of Streator; his grandchildren, Emily, Erica, Taylor, Julian, Alec, Ryan, Jeff, Brady and Bryce; his great grandchildren, Donavin, Connor, Bentley, Madelyn, Jonathan, Winry, Micah, Maci and Mila; and his great great grandchild Lillian.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home (305 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to either the Central Church of Christ or to a charity of the donors choice.
