It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Sharisky of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sharisky and Mary Sharisky (Szramek); his son Jason Sharisky; his sisters, Barbara Trenor and Shirley Sphar (Robert); and his granddaughter Karie Sharisky.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor "Dolly" Sharisky of Streator; his sons, Richard "Rick" Sharisky, Jr. of Streator and Cory Sharisky of Streator; his grandchildren, Mark Harcar (Katie) of Streator, Jimmy Harcar (Alexis Simons) of Streator, Jolyn Harcar (Joe Berg) of Streator, Brooke Winkels (Tyler) of Streator, Morgan Angelico (Blake) of Mt. Vernon, Lakin Sharisky of Ottawa, Emilee Sharisky (Lane Elmore) of Streator, Lucas Sharisky of Streator, Cooper Sharisky of Streator and Ella Sharisky of Streator; and his siblings, Kristie Murray (Mel) of Streator and George Sharisky (Karen) of Streator. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
