We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2022, at the age of 67, Richard F. Pflibsen of Streator, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Pflibsen; his brothers, Tom Pflibsen and Frederick "Rick" Pflibsen; his stepfather Jack Thomas; and his grandparents, Bruce, Laurine Amos, Fred and Margaret Pflibsen.

He is survived by: his son Doug Pflibsen (Corie) of Derby, Kansas; his grandchildren, Alyssa Pflibsen of Mitchell and Lucas Pflibsen of Derby, Kansas; his mother Shirley Thomas of Streator; his siblings, Peggy Witte (Randy) of Cincinnati, Kathy Meis of Urbana and David Pflibsen of Streator; his stepsiblings, Sally Renner (Rick) of Mackinaw, Jack Thomas (Janice) of Streator and Gary Thomas (Sandy) of Wenona; and his niece Natasha Pflibsen of Streator. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew.
