He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd "Possum" and Margaret Huffines (Comisky); his brother Donald Huffines; and his great grandchild Romeo Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Huffines of Streator; his daughters, April Dunning (Robert "Bob" Jackson) of Streator and Bridget Bex (William "Tree" Treschak) of Streator; his grandchildren, Destiny Ivy (Jason) of Streator, Brandi Huffines of Streator, Cheyenne Wheaton (Dale) of Streator and Preston Dunning of Streator; his sister Delores Hardy of Peru; and his close friend Jim "Matthead" Riordan of Streator. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
