Richard E. Bedecker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Bedecker of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bedecker and Margaret Bedecker (Bermes); and his pet Buddy. He is survived by: his wife Donna Bedecker of Streator; his children, Sandy Melvin (Doug), Beth Durdan (Chuck), Mark Bedecker of Streator and Jerry Bedecker of Streator; his grandchildren, Cooper, Spencer and Talon Melvin; his sons, Justin, Brandon Durdan, Christian Bedecker, Chandler Bedecker, Abby Bedecker and Elly Bedecker; his sister Ruth Wilhelm (Roger) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; his friend Anne Johnson; and his pet Lady.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home (301 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
