She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Teegardin and Rosalie Teegardin (Bresney). She is survived by: her children, Adam Vance (Brandi) of Streator, Abby Vance of Carbondale and Aaron Vance of Streator; her grandson Jace; and her siblings, Bob Teegardin (Laurie) of Princeton, Mark Teegardin Bradenton (Stacia) and Kim Teegardin of Streator. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in her name to the American Lung Association.
