He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard D. Smith and Dorothy Smith (Weers); his wife Carol Grove; his children, Alicia Lehr (Keith) and Ryan Zeedyk; his grandchildren, Kamden Lehr of Grand Ridge, Tucker of Grand Ridge and Ada Zeedyk of Grand Ridge; his sister Pam Sherman of Streator; and his nephews, Jeremy Sherman (Brooke) of Streator and Brian Sherman (Jessica) of Blackstone.
