He was predeceased by: his parents, George Black and Sandra Sue Black (Fowler); and his stepsisters, Donna and Del Ramsey. He is survived by: his daughter Hali Black of Streator; his grandson Brantley Mills of Streator; his siblings, Debra Odle (Glenn) of Blanchester, Ohio, Leah Beasley (Ed) of Illinois, Jeffrey Black (Autumn) of Illinois and Mary Patton (Mike) of Decatur; his stepsister Pamela Thomas of Illiopolis; and his pet Charlie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home (301 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
