She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Bellis and Evelyn Bellis (Falk); and her husband Edward R. Novotney. She is survived by: her nephews, Steve, Mike Grossen and Josh Miller; her sons, Edward Novotney (Laurie) of Peru and Richard Novotney (Cindy Tucker-Miller) of Streator; her grandsons, Matthew Novotney of Dekalb, Andrew Novotney of Cape Girardeau and Brandon Novotney of Peru; her sisters, Junitta Winn (Thomas) of Willis and Marion Grossen (Terry) of Streator; and her close friend Ken Renner of Streator.

“I knew the Novotney family over the years. Especially as a young man. Emma Berosek was her neighbour and my gramma. A very nice family as I played with Eddie and Ricky in the summer months. Their mom and dad were great people that were warm and welcoming. Mrs. Novotney drove us to the bowling alley or Anderson Golf course for fun. So very sad to hear of her passing.
