He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Perona and Doris Perona (Rennau); his daughter April Perona; and his brothers, Donald and Ronald.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ginger Armstrong (Ron) of Streator and Joann Wyatt (Brett) of Streator; his grandchildren, LeighAnn Vickers (Mike), John "Tony" Zmia (Angela), Mia and Mandi Wyatt; and his siblings, Peter Perona of Indiana, Steve Perona of Toluca and Kathy Halleran of Royalton, IL.. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 124 S Vermillion St, Streator, IL 61364.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
