With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma F. Sherwood of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Thomason and Ella Jane Thomason (Hickey); her husband Robert E. Sherwood; her grandson Kyle Burkitt; and her siblings, Mary Sue Cheatham, Pauline Gunter, Mildred Dickinson, Billie Jo Stewart, Patsy Jean Thomason, Boyd Thomason and Van Thomason.
She is survived by: her children, Robert V. Sherwood (Cheryl) of Buffalo, IL, Karen Burkitt (David) of Theodosia, MO, Tim Sherwood (Lea Ann) of Atlanta, GA and Kelly Burkitt (Tim) of Leesburg, AL; her brother David Sherwood (Donna) of Streator; her grandchildren, Brett Burkitt, Amanda Brenizer (Jason), Nicole Sherwood, Tom Sherwood, Alexandra Sherwood and Jordan Burkitt; and her great grandchildren, Emily Brenizer and Elizabeth Sherwood.
