He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Mascal and Mary Mascal (Yurich); his sons, James Donald Mascal and Matthew Brian Mascal; and his siblings, Mary Hardy, Patricia Nelson and James Mascal.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Mascal of Streator; his daughters, Christine Mascal (Kim Henry) of Portland and Cathleen Horton (John) of Bloomington; his daughter-in-law Amy Jo Lotshaw (Kevin) of Streator; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, Daniel, Mark Horton, Noah, Grant, Owen, Abby and Malea Mascal.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home (301 S Park St, Streator, IL 61364). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
