It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marye Jo Vargas of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Vargas and Virginia Vargas (Smith); her brother Joe; her aunt Lupe Vargas; and her uncles, Don Hjerpe and Bob Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Lacie Eggers (Charles) of Ottawa, Derek Vargas (Alyssa) of St. Louis, MO, Myriah Gonzalez Perez of Aurora, Gabriella Gonzalez of Aurora and Dylan Vargas of Streator; and her brother Michael Vargas of Streator. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
