Mary Swagert Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2020, at the age of 82, Mary Swagert of Streator, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Swagert to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Chalkey and Mary Chalkey (Jasus); and her brothers, Alvin "Babe", Fred and Jerome Chalkey.

She is survived by: her children, Eric Eugene Swagert of Streator and Mary Jean Caputo (Deacon Robb) of Streator; her grandchildren, Jennifer Mullin of Streator, Jonathan Swagert (Taylor) of Oglesby, Micah Swagert (Ashley) of Princeton, Taylor Caputo of South Bend, Clay Caputo of Ottawa, Nicole Bowers (Zachary) of Naperville and Courtney Caputo of Streator; her great grandchildren, Cassius Caputo of Ottawa and Theodore Bowers of Naperville; her siblings, Rev. Andrew Chalkey, Jim Chalkey (Sharon) of Streator, Alvida Demko of Streator, Carolyn Blakemore of Streator, Bernice Grant of Streator, Donna Adams of Gresham and Janice Dodge of Port Orange, Florida; her sisters-in-law, Kathryn and Donna Chalkey of Streator; and her daughter-in-law Vicki Turner of Princeton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
