It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jean (Antolik) Fortson of Streator, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Antolik and Rebecca Antolik (Breese); her husband John N. Fortson; and her siblings, Keno Antolik and Viola Trowbridge.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Cheryl Meade (Ricky) of Luray, VA, Deborah Wakeman (Donald) of Streator, Patricia Fortson of Streator and Laura Oldenburg (Bob) of Luray, VA. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
