She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis and Lois Amell Sr. (Schroeder); her grandson John Maier Jr.; and her siblings, Ellen Marshall, Louis Jr. Ed, Bruce, Neil, Don and Charles Amell.
She is survived by: her former spouse Thomas Rodrick; her children, Tamara Maier, Lois Westermeyer (Paul), Keven Rodrick (Laurie) and Thomas Rodrick Jr.; her grandchildren, Jason, Jimmie (Justin), Keven Jr. (Amanda Rodrick), Nicholas Maier (Kelsey) and Allison Pelnarsh (Paul Westermeyer); and her siblings, Judy DeFrees and Barry Amell of Streator. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
