She was predeceased by: her parents, John Berta and Anna Berta (Kolesar); her husband Albert "Abby" Novotney; her grandson Daniel Batkiewicz; and her siblings, Frank Berta (Anna), Andrew Berta (Ruth), George Berta, John Berta (Emma), Edward Berta, Daniel Berta (Maxine), Lester Berta and Margaret Roskos (Mike).
She is survived by: her children, Louise Ann Batkiewicz (Jerry) of Plano, TX, Raymond Novotney (Ruth) of Plano, TX and Michael Novotney of Streator; her grandchildren, Debra Sanders, Chris Novotney (Reese), Laura Clift (Jason), Adam Novotney, Kris Buker (Barney), Brian Dahlem and Roxanna Berglund; her great grandchildren, Megan Sell (Brandon), Justin Sanders (Kelsey), Drew Tkach, Connor Novotney, Grace, Faith, Jillian Clift and Regan Buker; her great great grandchild Claire Sanders; and her sister-in-law Barbara Berta.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Streator.
