She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Lane and Ruth Lane (Crehan); her husband Robert M. Lithgow; and her sister Joan Lane. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, William Atherton (Lee) of Suwanee, Julie Atherton of Phoenix, Amy Atherton of Brooksville, Tyler Chismarick of Schaumburg and Anna Atherton of Suwanee, Georgia..

“We are so sorry to hear of Lois' passing. She was a wonderful woman. She had a very giving nature and a very devout Catholic. I was so honored to have had the pleasure of working with her and calling her friend and her being part of our family. She will be missed by many. She was very good to my family. the last few months i was not able to be in touch with her. But she was always on my mind.
