He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ruth and Edna Ruth (Platt); his brothers, John, Fred Jr., Richard and Lawrence Ruth; and his stepsisters, Annabell Rawlings and Juanita Gooden.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Gary Henning; his nephews, Frank Jurcak, Thomas Jurcak and Jason Henning; his cousin William Stalter; his spouse Lois Jurcak; his brother Bob Ruth (Gloria) of Joliet; and his sister-in-law Sonja Jacklich. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
