He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Abbott and Elsie Abbott Sr. (Warwick); his children, Kenneth Joseph and Mary Margaret; and his brother Randall.
He is survived by: his children, Kassandra Anderson (Gus) of Streator, Teresa Grabowski (Joe) of Streator, Robert Abbott (Jill) of Streator, Russell Abbott (Jean) of Streator and Matthew Abbott (Brianne) of Streator; his grandchildren, Brent, Joseph (Karin) and Karlee Quail (Kevin); his children, Dylan (Whitney), Allyson, Jaryd (Kallie), Zackary, Brady Grabowski, Elizabeth, Joshua, Sarah Abbott, Jordan (Erica), Sophia, Andrew, Henry Abbott, Race and Jett Abbott; and his sisters, Karen Latino of Arizona and June Blum of Streator. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the New Beginnings Baptist Church.
