She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Reihl and Irene Reihl (Elias); and her brother Harold "Chip" Reihl. She is survived by: her husband Rex Hawthorne; her sons, Lucas Hawthorne (Amber) of Streator, IL and Andrew Hawthorne (Michelle) of Jacksonville, FL.; her stepchildren, Lisa Volz (Eddie) of San Antonio, TX and Lee Hawthorne of Palmer, TX.; and her sisters, Mary Jo Weber (Pete Johnson) of Orion, IL and Karen Perjak (Rich) of Streator, IL. She is also survived by grandma or "Baba" to her ten grandchildren, and 7 great-grand-children, numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Grace Community Church.
