He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sauers and Irene Sauers (Poldek); his son Mark Sauers; and his siblings, Shirley Zion (Bud), June Churney, Diane Kovach (Andy) and Jim Sauers.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes "Aggie" Sauers of Streator; his children, Kathy Lucas (Jack) of Streator, Beth Cravatta (Jerry) of Streator, John Sauers (Tina) of Streator and Greg Sauers (Kathy) of Streator; his grandchildren, Matthew Lucas (Sasha), Michael Lucas (Olivia), Chad Lucas (Jessica), Christopher Cravatta (Ashlee), Trevor Cravatta, Lauren Cravatta, Tyler Sauers (Holly), Travis Sauers (Madelynn Craft), Logan Sauers (Nicole Campbell) and Adam Sauers; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Bryce, Caden, Cash, Duke, Jack, Ava, Brynn, Lia Lucas, Case, Colbie Cravatta and Levi Sauers; his brother Bob Sauers (Becky) of Streator; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Churney of Streator and Marilyn Sauers of Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Parkinson's Research or the charity of the donor's choice.
