He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Piatkowski and Theresa Piatkowski (Nadzielska); and his nephews, Ryan Piatkowski and Eric Fultz. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lucas; his children, James Piatkowski and Carissa Piatkowski of Streator; his siblings, Walter Piatkowski of Streator, Mary Brown (Robert) of Princeville and Christine Fultz (Rodney) of Shabbona; his goddaughter Kelly Senko; and also D'anne Piatkowski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
