Joanne H. Behrens Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2023, at the age of 85, Joanne H. Behrens of Streator, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Martin and Helen Haughtigan (Hansen); and her siblings, Alice Flowers and Bernhard Haughtigan. She is survived by: her husband Fred Behrens; her children, Kathy Benning (Joseph R.), Carolina, Kevin Turner (Lisa) of Streator and Karen Elias (Don) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Jennifer Benning, Joseph D. Benning (Allison), Neal Turner (Melissa), Sara Turner, Tyler Turner (Amber), Annie Elias (Jon Walters) and Donnie Elias; her great grandchildren, Teagan Benning and Chloe Thrush; and her siblings, Marlene Simpson of Streator, Robert Haughtigan (Eileen) of Streator, James Taylor of Streator and Kenneth Taylor (Pat) of Streator. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
