With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joann Taylor of Streator, Illinois, born in McLeansboro, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernor Perry and Margaret Perry (Heil); and her half-brother David Perry. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Taylor Jr.; her children, Donna Davis of Streator, Robert Taylor (Evelyn) of Apache Junction, AZ and Kimberly Walker (Timothy) of Crystal Lake; her siblings, Melva Cunningham of Streator and Bob Perry (Linda) of Massachusetts; and her half-siblings, Marie Verdine (Rod) of Ottawa and John Perry (Ruth) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Central Church of Christ.
