It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanie F. Miller of Streator, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Joanie has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her father John Ftacek; her husband Charles R. Miller; and her sister-in-law Kathy Ftacek. She is survived by: her mother Alvida Ftacek (Chalkey) of Streator; her daughter Amy Stringfellow (Scot) of Austin, Texas; her grandson Cameron Stringfellow; and her brothers, John Ftacek (Judy) of Georgetown and Jerry Ftacek of Streator.
